Jetformat

Insert a formatted HTML fragment into Word

A report generator may have a small formatted fragment ready to insert into an existing DOCX. The fragment workflow is useful when plain paragraph text is insufficient.

Prepare the input

Keep the fragment small and inspect the supported result before expanding its markup. Quote angle brackets so the shell does not interpret them as redirection.

These examples use local sample filenames. Substitute your own paths and check jetformat word html --help against the installed version before running the task. Put paths containing spaces inside quotes.

Run the command

jetformat word html report.docx --paragraph 1 --html '<b>Reviewed</b>' -o reviewed.docx

This command supports a short formatted run such as bold or italic text. It is not a browser renderer or a converter for a complete HTML page.

Review before the next step

Check the inserted text and formatting in the saved file. This operation is not a browser screenshot and should not be treated as arbitrary web-page rendering.

Extract text to confirm the content, then inspect a PDF preview to verify inline formatting.

Keep the workflow repeatable

Writing an Office document uses one credit per command. See the billing guide for the current rules.

Keep the input revision with the result so a later reviewer can reproduce the decision. For a write operation, choose a new output path first; use overwrite flags only when replacing a previously reviewed result is intentional.

See the word html options and examples for the command reference. Browse related word commands when the next step requires a different operation.
