# Jetformat

> Jetformat is a closed-source CLI that converts Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to PDF on the user's own machine, rebuilds DOCX from PDF, and provides PDF and Office automation tools. One Go binary. No Microsoft Office, no LibreOffice, no upload.

CLI resources are word, excel, ppt, html, pdf, text, validate, font, emf, and xmp. Reading is free, writing costs a cent a page: to-pdf, pdf render, pdf to-word (alias of to-docx), and every pdf command that writes a new PDF cost 1 credit per output page; text costs 1 per request. inspect, get, set, template, validate, and read-only pdf commands are free. Every account gets 80 free pages a month; Pro ($9/month, 2,000 pages) and Team ($39/month, 10,000 pages) plans and one-time packs are sold on jetformat.com only. There is no MCP server, no OCR, and no remote conversion API. html to-pdf is a beta that needs a separate renderer service.
