Review a PowerPoint deck with targeted page previews

Convert the deck once, then render selected pages to review its layout. Start with slides most likely to expose missing fonts, crowded content, or unsupported graphics.

1. Inspect the source deck

The structural inventory tells you how many slides, images, tables, and charts need consideration. Speaker notes are a separate source of information; they do not appear as visible slide text in a PDF review.

Choose a review set that includes the title slide, a dense text slide, a table, and the slide with the most unusual typography. If charts or SmartArt carry key information, plan an explicit comparison with the source because native charts are not rendered and SmartArt support is partial.

2. Convert once and render selectively

One slide becomes one PDF page. The selector above is only an example; ensure those page numbers exist in your deck. Selected previews reduce the number of image outputs while keeping the complete PDF available for review.

3. Review what structure cannot tell you

Open the images and check text clipping, font substitution, image proportions, and overlap. Slide counts cannot detect these failures. Animation and transitions are absent from a static PDF, so review those separately in the presentation application when they matter.

After editing, render the changed slides again. Rearranging slides changes page positions, so update your review selection after a move or deletion.
