Decide what success means
List comments again and confirm only the selected note was removed. Keep the source copy so the original review context remains available if the approval is questioned.
Prepare and run
List current comments and identify the exact comment ID. Do not guess an ID from the order in which notes appear visually.
These examples use local sample filenames. Substitute your own paths and check jetformat word remove-comment --help against the installed version before running the task. Put paths containing spaces inside quotes.
jetformat word remove-comment report.docx --id 0 -o reviewed.docx
List comments first and use the reported comment ID. Work on a new output file so the review history in the original remains available.
Inspect the saved result
Run word comments on the output and confirm that only the intended comment disappeared.
Scope and repeatability
Writing an Office document uses one credit per command. See the billing guide for the current rules.
Keep the input revision with the result so a later reviewer can reproduce the decision. For a write operation, choose a new output path first; use overwrite flags only when replacing a previously reviewed result is intentional.
See the word remove-comment options and examples for the command reference. Browse related word commands when the next step requires a different operation.
