Read speaker notes before sharing a slide deck

A deck intended for external readers may include internal speaker notes. Listing notes gives a reviewer a chance to inspect material that is not visible on the slide surface.

Prepare the input

Use the exact PPTX intended for sharing. A PDF preview may omit the notes and therefore cannot serve as the only review artifact.

These examples use local sample filenames. Substitute your own paths and check jetformat ppt notes --help against the installed version before running the task. Put paths containing spaces inside quotes.

Run the command

jetformat ppt notes board-deck.pptx

Read speaker notes separately when preparing a script or reviewing a deck. Notes are not the same as text shown on the slide.

Review before the next step

Compare notes with the intended audience and revise sensitive context through the appropriate editing workflow. Reading notes does not remove them from the file.

Keep each note associated with its slide number; check for missing notes rather than assuming every slide has them.

Keep the workflow repeatable

This is a free utility or read operation. It does not need a paid conversion to inspect the result.

Run jetformat ppt notes --help to compare options with your installed version.

See the ppt command reference for the surrounding workflow.

Keep the input revision with the result so a later reviewer can reproduce the decision. For a write operation, choose a new output path first; use overwrite flags only when replacing a previously reviewed result is intentional.

See the ppt notes options and examples for the command reference. Browse related ppt commands when the next step requires a different operation.
