Prepare the input
Confirm the slide number and image file before writing. Slide order can change during deck assembly, so choose the target after any earlier reorder operation.
These examples use local sample filenames. Substitute your own paths and check jetformat ppt add-image --help against the installed version before running the task. Put paths containing spaces inside quotes.
Run the command
jetformat ppt add-image board-deck.pptx --page 1 --image logo.png -o board-deck-updated.pptx
The image is placed at the top-left of the chosen slide. Start with an existing deck and use a local image file; this is not an automatic layout designer.
Review before the next step
Review the slide’s image placement and aspect ratio. A logo that fits one layout may overlap text or decorative elements in another.
Convert the saved deck and render the edited slide to check overlap and image proportions.
Keep the workflow repeatable
Writing an Office document uses one credit per command. See the billing guide for the current rules.
Keep the input revision with the result so a later reviewer can reproduce the decision. For a write operation, choose a new output path first; use overwrite flags only when replacing a previously reviewed result is intentional.
See the ppt add-image options and examples for the command reference. Browse related ppt commands when the next step requires a different operation.
