Decide what success means
Open the saved presentation and read the surrounding slides in sequence. Check speaker notes and references that mention slide order as well as the visible arrangement.
Prepare and run
Identify source and destination positions in the current deck. Avoid calculating them from a stale preview after another slide has been inserted or removed.
These examples use local sample filenames. Substitute your own paths and check jetformat ppt reorder --help against the installed version before running the task. Put paths containing spaces inside quotes.
jetformat ppt reorder board-deck.pptx --from 1 --to 3 -o board-deck-updated.pptx
Both source and destination positions are 1-based. Apply moves to the current deck because prior moves change later slide numbers.
Inspect the saved result
Inspect the new order and render the moved slide with its neighbors to confirm the presentation sequence.
Scope and repeatability
Writing an Office document uses one credit per command. See the billing guide for the current rules.
Keep the input revision with the result so a later reviewer can reproduce the decision. For a write operation, choose a new output path first; use overwrite flags only when replacing a previously reviewed result is intentional.
See the ppt reorder options and examples for the command reference. Browse related ppt commands when the next step requires a different operation.
