Mirror PDF pages for a special display workflow

A mirrored display or production step may need horizontally flipped PDF content. Flipping should be an explicit output transformation because it affects the page's readability.

Prepare the input

Keep the source and choose a representative page containing both text and graphics. Confirm that mirroring is actually required by the downstream workflow.

These examples use local sample filenames. Substitute your own paths and check jetformat pdf flip --help against the installed version before running the task. Put paths containing spaces inside quotes.

Run the command

jetformat pdf flip book.pdf --horizontal -o flipped.pdf

Flipping mirrors every page; rotation turns pages without mirroring their content. Choose the operation that matches the orientation problem.

Review before the next step

Inspect the output orientation before delivery. A flip is different from rotation and can make ordinary text unsuitable for direct reading.

Render one page containing readable text to confirm you selected the intended direction.

Keep the workflow repeatable

This operation uses page-based credits. Review the billing guide before processing a large document.

Keep the input revision with the result so a later reviewer can reproduce the decision. For a write operation, choose a new output path first; use overwrite flags only when replacing a previously reviewed result is intentional.

See the pdf flip options and examples for the command reference. Browse related pdf commands when the next step requires a different operation.
