A wide or long worksheet becomes difficult to read when its labels scroll out of view. Freezing the first row or column keeps those reference labels available.

Choose --row, --col, or both. Freeze panes affect navigation in a workbook viewer; they do not add repeated headers to printed PDF pages.

Before repeating the operation

These examples use local sample filenames. Substitute your own paths and check jetformat excel freeze --help against the installed version before running the task. Put paths containing spaces inside quotes.
