Delete an unwanted page from a PDF delivery copy

An assembled report may contain an extra page that should not reach the recipient. Removing a specific page is useful when its position has been verified.

Prepare the input

Inspect the current PDF and identify the page by its actual sequence, not a printed page label. Earlier insertions or deletions can change those positions.

These examples use local sample filenames. Substitute your own paths and check jetformat pdf remove-page --help against the installed version before running the task. Put paths containing spaces inside quotes.

Run the command

jetformat pdf remove-page book.pdf --page 2 -o book-updated.pdf

Use a 1-based page number; at least one page must remain. Recheck positions if earlier operations have inserted or removed pages.

Review before the next step

Check the neighboring pages and total page count after saving. Review bookmarks and textual references that may still point to the removed page.

Run pdf info and render pages around the deletion to confirm both the count and the intended sequence.

Keep the workflow repeatable

This operation uses page-based credits. Review the billing guide before processing a large document.

Keep the input revision with the result so a later reviewer can reproduce the decision. For a write operation, choose a new output path first; use overwrite flags only when replacing a previously reviewed result is intentional.

See the pdf remove-page options and examples for the command reference. Browse related pdf commands when the next step requires a different operation.
