Inspect the affected pages and choose the intended rotation angle. A document with mixed orientations deserves a more careful selection than a uniformly rotated sample.
A focused terminal workflow
jetformat pdf rotate book.pdf --degrees 90 -o rotated.pdf
The operation rotates every page by a multiple of 90 degrees. Use it for a consistently rotated document rather than expecting per-page orientation detection.
Acceptance checks
Open the saved PDF and check text direction and page dimensions. Rotation does not fix skew within a scanned image or recover missing text.
Render representative pages and check both orientation and clipping before replacing the original.
Before repeating the operation
These examples use local sample filenames. Substitute your own paths and check jetformat pdf rotate --help against the installed version before running the task. Put paths containing spaces inside quotes.
This operation uses page-based credits. Review the billing guide before processing a large document.
Keep the input revision with the result so a later reviewer can reproduce the decision. For a write operation, choose a new output path first; use overwrite flags only when replacing a previously reviewed result is intentional.
