Decide what success means
Compare extracted assets with the slides. Embedded-image extraction does not reproduce every shape, chart, or composed slide as an image.
Prepare and run
Use a destination folder tied to one deck revision. Keep the presentation available because an extracted image alone does not explain its placement or crop.
These examples use local sample filenames. Substitute your own paths and check jetformat ppt extract-images --help against the installed version before running the task. Put paths containing spaces inside quotes.
jetformat ppt extract-images board-deck.pptx -o board-images
This retrieves picture assets from the PPTX package. It does not produce complete slide screenshots or render editable chart objects.
Inspect the saved result
Open the extracted files; use ppt to-pdf and pdf render for a complete slide preview.
Scope and repeatability
This is a free utility or read operation. It does not need a paid conversion to inspect the result.
Keep the input revision with the result so a later reviewer can reproduce the decision. For a write operation, choose a new output path first; use overwrite flags only when replacing a previously reviewed result is intentional.
See the ppt extract-images options and examples for the command reference. Browse related ppt commands when the next step requires a different operation.
