jetformat pdf attach book.pdf --file notes.txt -o attached.pdfThe attachment is stored in the PDF catalog. Use this when distributing a supporting file with a document rather than displaying an attachment icon at a page location.
Acceptance checks
List attachments in the output and open the package in the intended viewer. Attaching a file does not insert its contents into the visible pages.
Run pdf attachments on the result and confirm the intended file is listed.
Before repeating the operation
These examples use local sample filenames. Substitute your own paths and check jetformat pdf attach --help against the installed version before running the task. Put paths containing spaces inside quotes.

Keep the input revision with the result so a later reviewer can reproduce the decision. For a write operation, choose a new output path first; use overwrite flags only when replacing a previously reviewed result is intentional.
