Assemble a meeting deck from separate PPTX files

Different teams may prepare separate decks for one meeting. Merging them creates a single file that can be reviewed in the intended presentation order.

Decide what success means

Review transitions between source decks, including slide dimensions and notes. A successful merge does not reconcile differing visual styles or conflicting presentation assumptions.

Prepare and run

List inputs explicitly in agenda order and keep the originals. Check slide sizes and template differences before assuming the combined result will look uniform.

These examples use local sample filenames. Substitute your own paths and check jetformat ppt merge --help against the installed version before running the task. Put paths containing spaces inside quotes.

jetformat ppt merge a.pptx b.pptx -o deck.pptx

Input order sets the sequence of source decks. Keep the original presentations available while reviewing the combined output.

Inspect the saved result

Compare the combined slide count with the inputs and render slides at each merge boundary.

Scope and repeatability

Writing an Office document uses one credit per command. See the billing guide for the current rules.

Keep the input revision with the result so a later reviewer can reproduce the decision. For a write operation, choose a new output path first; use overwrite flags only when replacing a previously reviewed result is intentional.

See the ppt merge options and examples for the command reference. Browse related ppt commands when the next step requires a different operation.
